Ultimate Guide to Trade License in Pakistan
Getting a trade license is a critical step for any commercial activity in Pakistan. It is issued by the local Municipal Corporation or Town Municipal Administration (TMA) to regulate businesses within their jurisdiction.
Required Documents
- Copy of CNIC of the Business Owner
- Rent Agreement (Registered) or Property Ownership Docs
- Recent Utility Bill of the Shop/Office
- Passport size photographs
- NTN Certificate (for some categories)
Step-by-Step Procedure
- Visit the local TMA or Municipal Office.
- Fill out the prescribed Application Form.
- Submit documents for verification by the inspector.
- Pay the License Fee at the designated bank.
- Receive your Trade License within 7-10 working days.
